Default 5ltr VN Wagon, check these pics out n tell me what ya think...

    5ltr VN Berlina Wagon

Stock as a rock except 4:
    stage 2 auto
    2 1/2 inch exhaust

    Future mods:
still deciding between 355 or LS2 conversion
(i hear LS1's and LS2's sound like ass)

yep ls1 sound pretty bad compared to a 5L i think the L98 or L76 headed ls2 sound better tho like the ve commodore has there still not a 5L tho. but the L98 head make 500hp with a just about standard cam.
    13.3 1/4 exhaust only untuned!

forgot to say thats one near lookin berlina wagon! dont see many of them

yeah the ve commodores ss comes with them. any ls2 block can take them yes but i would just get one from a commodore because it already has them. if you get the normal ls2 i wouldnt bother changing them unless you want a race car.

The wagon looks neat as. The small kit mods and clubsport rims - Yumm.

Keep the 5.0L and get a new tune with good exhaust.

That thing's beautiful. Don't ever change the way it looks

Also, an LS1 doesn't sound as nice as the old 304, but nobody will notice this fact when your car is over the horizon within ten seconds

I'll check it out next time I go for a drive. Im not too overly concerned with economy. I would go 4.11 if I could. Only reason I went 3.9 as it was in the LSD diff I bought out of the r31

    Tuff car.

All its missing is the rear lip, and the red stripe on the front.
Remember who's got first dibs if you ever sell it

    Very.

You could probably get a fibreglass copy made up. But genuine ones are pretty rare. I've found a VN Wagon here with one, asked to buy his car (for the whole car, not just the lip), but he hasn't got back to me yet.

but it comes down to the cost :P for the cost of an ls2 then all the stuff to get it in, computers hacking them exhaust engine mounts clutch or tailshaft all the other little bits n peices. youll probably lose aircond n have to play with powersteering i think i'd rater spend the same money on a decent 355 and they sound better than a ls2 cammed still and easy 12 sec car. or faster if u want.

Nice looking wagon mate. Have to agree with some of the comments to keep it looking as it is but I guess I'm a bit old school in that regard. Have fun and watch the money disappear like the rest of us.
