mate that looks so similar to the damage i had on my old vn, get a new light, garnish, and make the boot close properly (you can adjust this on the latch inside the boot), and either bash out bumper or get a new one and you'll be ready to go.

guy who hit me didn't have insurance, ended up getting $600 cash from it. get a quote to fix the damage first. then write a letter of a demand, keep on going to his house, tell him you've spoken to a lawyer etc. mine was actually quoted at $1400 to fix it up, yet after a bit of tinkering around i got it to look like this and just left it. could have done with a new bumper really, you wouldn't even notice the damage if i had've bought one.

Yeh i will see what happens, and they can decide what to do, and if they wanna write if off then the guy who hit me car pay market value plus a little more for the new shit in there, and then strip it and sell it for parts,

if not he can pay the damage outta his pocket and get on with it, either way ill be happy, dont want a half assed job..

yeah, well i ended up selling my car for $1250, technically a write off then . (to me) the damage was only cosmetic, so i just left it like that. probably was a bit of structural in there but car handled fine, lights worked, no water got in boot so i was happy.

actually i wasn't happy because i didn't want a car that looked 'off' so that's part of the reason i bought a new one haha

depends, do you like your car? is it reliable? i decided i'd had enough driving around a bucket of slightly damaged crap so i sold my car and bought a v8. it looks a bit better. a bit. reliability wise it's at least 90% worse, and it's cost me over $8500 so far. slower-than-stock faded vp riding on stockies.

my point is that if i was you, and your car has been good to you, i'd get it fixed and keep it. you might be able to get a slightly newer car or a v8, but who knows, you might get unlucky like me and end up having to fork out money every weekend for some new shit the car needs.

    Ok well an update...
Car has not been fixed yet... still waiting
Anyway i put in a new alternator, and drive belt tensioner pulley
I also sanded back the 2 back doors that were painted nearly a year ago now... lol...
I am going to put in my VR/VS door pods this weekend if I get around to it! and Also get my new parcel shelf put in with my new 6x9's...
All amped thanks to snowy for the shitty amp to run the front speakers It will do the job alright!!

I also started my boot install (at no cost to me) All being done by me and the builder im working with in his workshop with excess timber and stuff that he doesnt need

I have the false floor in now, such a pain in the ass to get the spare tyre out, but oh well... Boot looks better already!
I am planning to put a panel up the back to cover up the seats with Skunks Monks Carved into the timber and all re-carpeted as the standard carpet doesnt fit :P lol...
But yeah, I have been doing heaps to my car, and will hopefully all be done soon...

Here are some pictures of the boot... They aren't to good.. but you get the drift...

I think that's all for the time being!

Don't worry about the amp as that will be moved, but need some more wire for the 12v and the earth! That will be mounted under the flase floor with all the wires hidden so it will look neat...

Will update later when more is done...

Ok so I got my car back from Panel Beaters, now just waiting on new front and rear bar... God damn he is slow!!!
Anyway He cut + Polished the whole car for me, and fixed up my rear doors, and also polished my rims (yes they are stockies, but they look much better all shiny )
I took ouy my false floor, just gotta go pick it up again, and put it back in and make a few modifications, but I got my new Parcel chelf in with my new 6x9's amped up, My VS Door pods put on with speakers in there amped up as well!
I also have a new head unit as my other one shit itself last weekend on the way home from Cruise 4 Charity!

I just went and washed my car and took a few pictures,
I am hoping to have the new bars before Tuesday, but knowing him, I probably wont get them for another week or so... So I'm a little upset about that... And I also will be getting a set of Clear side indicators from Robbie on Tuesday night!

So my car is coming along. Just a little update

Ok so I thought it was time for an update.
I have relocated my parkers into the headlights, and I have moved the indicators from the bumpers to the indicator part that attaches to the headlight so it is now like a normal VP, Just waiting on finding good quality bumper to change it over.

I have also fixed my false floor and put the amps under the floor...
I have also removed all stickers off the back of my car now, so only stickr left is the "SKUNKS MONKS" sticker on the front windscreen.

What colour is yours?? Maybe you should take your locks out, and get a whole new lock set + ignition barrel and yeh..
Sucks about the paint! How long you had it? Where you from?
