Default Skunk's Lexcen VP Problems now :(

    Hey, I'm Alistair,
I own a 1993 Toyota Lexcen, I bought it on saturday with 166,000km's on the clock, a few dents, and a cracked windscreen and a blown muffler. Picked it up for $1500...

In the last few days I have fixed:
The windscreen, had it replaced, cost $185
    Replaced Battery, cost $120
Replaced Muffler, cost $20 from wreckers
Replaced tail lights, cost $20 each from wreckers
Replaced front indicator lens, cost $10
    Replacing Grille on the weekend
    Debadged it
And I think that about does it.

I am the second owner of this car, the previous owner was a old lady, who let her grandson drive it every now and then... was serviced when needed and have records of services.

I have not done any mods to it yet, future mods will include:
New stereo, head unit, speakers, sub, amps..
    New grille
Some LED's/Neons in the boot and interior under the seats
    Replace garnish
    Hopefully change front bumper
    Lower it a little
Some mags, don't like my hub caps :P

Here are a few pictures, tell me what you think, remember its basically still standard, not much, if not anything has been changed.

I see you hate the hudcaps that much that you didnt want them in the picture lol the bushes are in the way, also see u got some calais tail lights, and you didnt get stuck with the ugly brown interior, can u change the back of the car with a commodore black garnish? or is the boot shaped different cause that look crap all and all car looks good..... for a lexen lol J/K i got an idea for the grill... cut the plastic and make it into a letterbox grill and ditch the v6 badge.

Yeah the tail lights are nice, The boot is shaped the same, so I will be replacing the Garnish with a VN/VP garnish.
With the Grill my mate is giving me one, so hopefully that will be getting changed over in a few days...
And yes the hub caps are horrid, I didn't realise I had hid them until I took the picture :P lol. I can post a pic of the hub caps if you want...

Nice looking car you got there mate. Whats going on with that door though? Is that a sticker. I cant figure it out. I agree with Bz kn33z. Just modify your original grille. Should save you some cash and look really good

the good thing about Lexcens is that you get them cheap. Even the Newport model which is the same as a Calais go way cheaper than the Holden equivalents and a lot of them have the optional holden stuff like climate control and sunroofs as standard. I think the only hassle with this VP would be the front guards- which i think are different from normal VP Commodores so you couldn't change the indicator lights
