Wilso's Black VN Wagon (Hand Painted)

Here's my 1989 VN Exec Wagon.

I hand painted my car at the start of the year using foam rollers. I put up a "how-to" thread on how I did it. Check that out here if you are interested.

Mods:

• 17" VX SS Rims with Maxxis Z1 tyres
• 2.5" cat back exhaust
• CAI intake + K&N panel filter
• V8 65mm throttle body
• Custom chip
• Tinted clear tail lights
• Tinter windows
• Lowered on Super Low King Springs
• Level 2 dash cluster
• Whiteline strut brace
• Heavy duty sway bar links
• DBA Slotted brake rotors w/ Bendix heavy duty pads

Future Mods:

• Extractors
• Supercharged

Stereo:

• 2 x 12" Audiopipe Subs in 5.6cu ft ported box
• 2 x Jaycar 4x100wrms amps
• 2 x Jaycar 6.5" Splits
• 0 guage power wire
• 100sq ft sound deadening (50sq ft g-spot, 50sq ft dynamat)
• JVC Headunit

That looks pretty good for hand painted!


Considering black is the hardest colour to paint.

Far out, you must have went through alot of sheets of wet n dry to smooth that out, painted with a roller , impressive

A strut brace will really tighen up the front nicely.

Ill be interested to see how the bonnet goes with a bit of heat and extreme colds, hopefully it holds up, cos my misses is working on her sanding arm!
