Here's my 1989 VN Exec Wagon.
I hand painted my car at the start of the year using foam rollers. I put up a "how-to" thread on how I did it. Check that out here if you are interested.

That looks pretty good for hand painted!
Considering black is the hardest colour to paint.
Get some interior pics up aswell.

Far out, you must have went through alot of sheets of wet n dry to smooth that out, painted with a roller, impressive

I like it smoothed with the dark tail lights..tough
A strut brace will really tighen up the front nicely.

Great work on the paint ive been reading up on a few of those links you posted good to see someone in Aus willing to give it a shot
well done again on a top job..do u know how long it should last doing it this way,,as i wouldnt mind learning how to do it
Ill be interested to see how the bonnet goes with a bit of heat and extreme colds, hopefully it holds up, cos my misses is working on her sanding arm!
