Looks tuff man. Love Stock VP SSs.

Don't need to change anything exterior wise, except maybe the genuine Sticker kit for the moulds. SS sticker on the grill looks tops aswell (wonder why holden didn't do it)

To be honest, i had to remove to original striping from the front bumper when i had it re-sprayed. When i took it off, i actually quite liked it. So ... i then took the rest of it off around the car, leaving just the solid red, an thought if i didnt like it, it could have done with a new sticker kit anyway coz it was starting to get a bit tacky. An it has stayed that way since, an i dont plan on putting it back

As far as im aware ... the SS sticker on the grill is from holden. It was on there when i bought it (completey stock with a casset player lol). I have seen plenty of others around with it too. I have found only the ones that replace the grill and are un-able to get another sticker dont have them

I'll bet my left nut that none left the Holden factory like that. Dealers may have chose to fit them, but other than that.

I like it tho. Would be the first mod i'd do to an SS.

    Cool by law

Yeh i get that question alot.
As of July 1st 2008, anyone who obtains their license is not allowed to drive a forced induction or V8 car. However, as i got my license early 2007, I was only restricted by the law that stated you may drive the following
'3.5ltrs per tone' or '125kw per tone(not 100% on those figures)'
When i was lookin at gettin a car, i made sure i came within those laws, so it is all legit. Only just under the restrictions, but it is legal haha.
    cheers

Wicked man, these laws are just gonna create allot more modified na's (6's) and many more unskilled drivers. Enjoy your SS

nice SS, very clean and i really like it!!!!!!!!!

i tried replying to your PM about the cams but it wouldnt let me (you dont accept them or something)

i had a wade 818, 276 duration and .492 lift, the banana's are good for stock cam and thats about it imo.

    a manifold change is a manditory :P but a 276 + twin 2.5" zorst and 9.5:1 comp should hammer!!!

its not the lumpiest cam in the world but underload it sounds nice,

Get foamie to make you up a chip hes pro!

That sounds like a sickness when you say it like that. Unfortuently I suffer from the same thing :O!. VP SS's makes me weak at the knees lol. Grey and Red ones mostly. I love the international wheels they are my favorite wheel but on this car I think I prefer the ceptors (if it was mine I'd run the ceptors)

Yeh i had ceptors on it for a while, i thought they looked alright too, but i was gettin hasseled by the jacks alot. So i thought id add a little class, an so far so good. I think ill leave it at that for now. Im thinkin of changin the cam, which then would also lead to shaving the heads and gettin extractors. At this stage im still undecided on wether i wanna outlay the cost for that for now. Im ganna sit on it for a while an see what happens. Might look at an upgrade in 12months or so. Cheers guys

I love vp ss aswell a mate at work has a grey one but wants 8 grand for it second owner 160,000 k's. It's tempting to sell my first born child for it...

Anyways good luck with it, let everyone what your plans for the cam is i think in the mean time you should get headers done as they're always a good upgrade. Crow says with that kit you need to run dual cats and twin system for anything above 185kw but i'm sure they say this for it to meet EPA rules.
