Yeah, get your pod filter and trow it down the street because its costing you power. Run a STD airbox with highflow or normal pannel filter and run a 80-100mm felxi tube into it leading to the front bar where it can suck cold air. Try to avoid crossing rivers with this though, but it wont suck water in unless you have a fully 100% airtight connection to your airbox, which it wonthave. Think of it this way, ever drank from a popper with a straw that had a hole in it? you get no juice do you...

VN Grills wont fit VP. The angle of the headlights is different.

Ahhhh, the first mod list of a n00by. Welcome aboard mate! First off, put that bellmouth back in, it does sweet f/a. I learnt this even after several people on here told me not to even take it out. All it does is lean out the 2 rear cylinders. Nothing else. The bellmouth evenly distributes air to your cylinders. The best thing to do is leave it in.

    In answer to your question:

lowered - Give Pedders a call, get shocks front and rear with matched springs. Will cost you a little bit, but well worth it. Get Sports Ryder gear.

v8 throttle body - You will need to get an adaptor plate too, as they aren't a straight bolt up fit. Even better, get a bored out 70mm T/B. You can get them off Egay easily.

2.5 inch exhaust system with headers (dont know wether to get full or cat back) - I used a set of Pacemakers with a single 2.5" exhaust, stock cat, no rear resi with a straight through muffler. Sounds alright as far as a V6 goes. I'm about to buy a VS Senator though, V6's are lame. But each to their own.

chip - Send Greenfoam a PM, he tunes chips, and he does it very very well. He will squeeze a few KW's out of your V6 mate, trust me. Half of this forum will back what i said up. He is the master. I'll get him to tune my Senator chip FOR SURE.

induction kit - Go to a Holden spare parts division at a Holden dealership, ask for a cold air intake with box and adaptor to suit. Will cost you about $70 all up, then spend $100 and get yourself a K&N panel filter with a cleaning kit. Best inventment for your V6 and will last most of your cars life.

shift kit - Make sure you find a DECENT transmission place to fit a B&M or similar kit WITH A LARGER BOOST VALVE AND CORVETTE SERVO. Another VERY good investment to get your 6 rockin'.

vp calais interior - Best bet is Egay, wreckers rarely have them, and when they do, they will mostly charge you alot for them when they are clean.

rear tailight (faded) - By that do you mean tinted? Be careful, i was defected for them once. Plus they look gay. Get some of the red with the indicator and reverse light strip thats clear. They look clean, tidy and slick. Up to you though bud.

open mouth grill - Get a VP GTS grille. I was lucky and scored an original, genuine brand new plastic one via a Holden dealership, if you ring around enough, you may locate one. They are expensive though, but fibreglass is gay and plastic is better. If not, try Egay.

Hope this helped ya out mate. Good luck with your money pit!! They are expensive, but damn the car bug is a great one

Good advice there, all except the go to pedders part.

Skip that and go straight to industrial springs on South/Port road. Assuming your in SA

Yeah either way. Or if you are real tight on cash, get some Monroe GT gas shocks (same **** as Pedders basically, made in the same factory) and some King Springs.

I bought shockers from Repco, and springs from Industrial (which make king springs, and probably make pedders ones aswell). Just stay away from pedders.

Why stay away from Pedders? I have nothing BUT Pedders in the VP (swaybars, bushes, shocks, springs, bearing plates, stru braces etc) and have for a few years now. Never had a single problem. Handles beautifully.

Oh, purchase your gear from pedders for sure. Stay away from letting them work on your car. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

But as i said, why pay more when you can get the same item from the factory.

Ohhh lol yeah i get what ya mean now. I have a mate who works at Pedders near my house, i request for him and him only to touch my car when it's there.

I have some bad stories about Pedders.

I'm pretty sure it is mate. But get your hands on a bored out and polished 70mm V6 throttle body off egay. Will do about the same as a V8 throttle body and you won't need to worry about the adaptor plate. Up to you though mate!

Get some pics of that VP up soon.
