dont do gauges under the stereo in an international! hed never find a replacement radio surround if he messed it up, or wanted to go back to standard

I'm most likely not going gauges under the stereo, or bonnet mount. Bonnet mount are too easy to pinch.

oh i thought the surround might have been different material. the other part of your console has different stitching or something doesnt it? or was that the armrest.

there arent many options to put them anywhere else trent. kinda sucks having a rare car sometimes

The surround is different, but the pocket and where the switches are is the same as a normal calais. The Leather surround is a seperate.

Hey Eko.. Basically it's still a VP Calais made here in Australia. It's got extra features/different parts that make it unique ie: badging/grille/dash etc. There was only 300 made, 150 in the Anthracite Grey (such as mine), and 150 in Alaskan White.

    Quoted from wikipedia.org Linky!!:
    Calais International
The Calais International was a limited edition of VP Commodore range based on the Calais. The Calais International was released in September 1992 with 300 made in total. The VP Calais Internationals' were available either Alaskan white or Anthracite grey, with 150 being made in each color. All were released from factory as Automatic V8s.

The Exterior comprised SS Lower kit, And a VQ Caprice Bootlip. The paint was single colour, unlike a normal Calais which had grey bottom half. Standard wheels were the same 15in Alloys found on VQ Statesmans.

The Interior was Black over Tan, with Tan partial leather/suede seats.

Another quick post.. just a small modification I have done. With the calais/stato's i believe, on the doors they have those little red covered lights.. I'm going to be change them all to the clear lights you see in the glovebox/boots of most commodores!
