Speed never killed anyone. Suddenly becoming stationary, now that's what gets you...
Yeah thanks mate. Will do![]()
Once I finish the car and get it out of the garage I'll post some decent pictures
Oh yeah and by the way I forgot to mention that I bought mags for the car - hence the picture of the mags lol
nicepickup mate. most blokes would have sold that for much more through the paper so watta bargain
excellent pick up mate those rims look pretty good![]()
Nice Bud,
I've got a wagon too and the same air freshener in the same spot lol. what type of rims are they and how much if you don't mind me asking?
Also is that a chrome grill, I have seen them on Ebay. It all looks really clean should be sweet once lowered.
Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it

Painted the bonnet, rear bumper and the hatch over the weekend with alot of my Dad's help. We managed to wet sand and polish up the hatch and bumper but havent got around to doing the bonnet yet because Im caught in school exams at the moment. Should have it done by next week though but anyway here are some pictures for the moment. Will post some new pictures when the car is finished
Fark man that looks nice your doing an awesome job. cant wait to see it all painted, all you need to do know is shop around for some springs and drop it about 3inchs lol

hhmm cut the springs if you arn't going to drive it!! why not because i'm guessing you are going to buy lowering springs before you take it over the pits?
it looks like a bloody ripper of a car for the pricealso nice work on the paint
Goodluck bro!
Thanks for the feedback guys! Appreciate it.
Probably not going to lower it quite yet. May do that later on when I have the money but definitely wont be cutting the springs lol. I need the car for everyday driving and its my only vehicle. Sort of going for a commodore that looks good but is still practical.
What would you need to do to the car if I wanted to lower it 2 inches. Would you need to roll the fenders? Im assuming so but it would be good to get some of your guys advice
G'day mate, You have a very nice ride.![]()

Thanks man. Im looking at getting some sort of an exhaust system for it as the next upgrade. The mid muffler has holes in it so I thought I may as well replace it with a Catback or something but Im not sure if there any good?
2.5 catback single muffler is the way to go mate, Pacemakers make it sound abit more grunty to and even better in a manual![]()

Took the VN for roadworthy and I was confronted with a rude shock. This is a list of whats I was told to replace, fit and fix:
Sucks, cause the VN will be off the road awhile longer
- Engine mounts
- Front suspension
- Steering wheel (rubber loose)
- Mudflaps (supposedly all wagons have to have them?!?)
- Window washer (which actually works - well it did when I got home and tested it)
