Did you use all Mal Wood parts for the conversion? You'd be the first i've found using the Mal Wood conversion kit.

Did everything line up well and fit? Did you get the headers from Mal Wood also? Much clearance?

I bought the 6 speed kit from him, but my car was already manual. Everything fitted perfectly, but with little room to spare. We had to remove the drivers side header to get the box in, then fit it back after.

Nah he makes an LS1 conversion kit as well. I've heard most of his stuff is great quality, so you would think his LS1 kit would be as well but I havent found anyone that has actually used it yet.

Dylan to be honest mate im not sure at this stage its not complete. the engine and box cost 5k, i had to get the box rebuilt as we didnt know the condition of it. I did get the kit from mal wood and while it was there they did the box and put the motor in. I couldn't recommend them enough. They did the conversion from auto to manual as well.

Cruizer: its not running yet, finding the time to get work done isn't in my favor at this stage.

stretchomatic: that's what im hoping for. at this stage i see the IRS holding it back but will cross that bridge when it goes.
