Hi there guy's
I have just signed up and this is my first post, I have been a Holden/Chev Man all of my life. I have a VN wagon that I use as a daily work horse, I have done some airbrushing on it....but working 7 days a week does not give me much time to finish the airbrushing.Hopefully I will get some time in the near future and complete the sides.
The first pic was done in photoshop where I filled in the side recess, this has actually been done on the Blue wagon. The other two pics are my everyday work car which I drive everywhere on all road conditions. I would like to dress it up a bit, but time and money has more prioroty in other areas etc.
Hope you find my wagon interesting and different!

thats awesome, good to see something different. got a sideon of the blue one?
Hi Hakhawk
I dont have any side pics...it looks just like the white pic only it's blue. I hope to start airbrushing the sides in the next few weeks!
Airman
Your bonnet fell off....oh wait
Not something i'd have on a street car, but 10 points for effort and creativity. Sure its not the first car to have the engine bay on the bonnet, but unique either way.

Thanks for the comments Guys....I was planning on doing a "Dark Night" theme on one side and the "Ghost Rider" theme on the other.....But I am not sure as to what will end up on the sides as I need something very interesting and eyecatching as the Wagon is my business and promotional vehicle.
Hakhawk....Nup...no seats etc...I had thought of airbrushing the Ghost rider etc and also airbrush the front section to look like I had clipped a 100mm steel bar at the rear of the front wheel arch and the bar had ripped the front guard and tore a section of the front door away exposing the intrusion panel and the window merchanism...people would look at it and think that it had been in an accident...BUT that does not promote my airbrushing much, it just shows how crazy I am!!!!!
I would like to get wheels and lower it ect....but as I said time and money restrictions at the moment
Needless to say...when I start to airbrush it (probably a couple of weeks yet) I will be posting the progress etc.

Sweet ride!!

hey mate if anything i reckon. it promotes your skill better. not alot of people can do things like that.
maybe do the tailgate in the traditional airbrushing etc to show clients.
if you make it look as real as possible.
how much would you charge to do a bonnet pretty much the same as the blue one?
lol, haydz, still looking for things to do to the car... haha.
nice car, i love that bonnet! whole car in that style would look.... different... haha but cool.

it would be crazy if under the hood it was an l67 or something crazy.
and everyones like its just a six. oh wait seeeeee......ya
Thanks for the comments guys....Sorry I am a bit late in responding, I have been uploading a lot of airbrush pictures to my Album.
Hi ya Haydz....It would cost lots $$$$$ There is about 200 hours in the airbrush work including a day and a half of drawing all of the detail etc. It is not the kind of job that you can do as a quickie with as it would not have the same effect. If you look at most of my airbrush work I am not realy into quick or large non detail type of airbrushing....dont get me wrong that type of airbrushing looks great but it is not my style.HTML Code:how much would you charge to do a bonnet pretty much the same as the blue one?
I have not seen a complete bonnet done before, but I have seen cars. passengers, chassis and various other things etc on the sides of vehicles.HTML Code:nice car, i love that bonnet! whole car in that style would look.... different... haha but cool.
Later...Airman
have u got any more pics of ur other work mate

Hi everyone
Been busy this Week....I have attached a pic of the "Ghost Rider" on the side of the wagon...The colors are not exact and the layout may be a little different.
Let me know your thoughts or opinions, I feel that it may be too much pictorial on the side. The top edge would blend or fade away into the Blue body color near the windows. It is a little difficult to do a picture on photoshop exactly as I would be airbrushing it.
Airman
is it just on one side or does it go over the bonnet and onto the other side will look mint once its done

Hi ya Joey
I was thinking of having the Ghost rider on oner side and another theme on the other side and keeping the "motor" on the bonnet, But since you brought the matter up I am now considering getting another bonnet and going right around the car, maybe the flaming skull would look great on the bonnet.
I have now thought of changing the overall color of the wagon as well, that would mean changing the colored sections on the "Motor" bonnet to match the new color of the car which would no be to much trouble.
