Not very keen on the current or future mods with all the lighting and neons and drift filter.

@SAMO-87 - Thanks, and yes it will light up, and basically all legal as everything is on switches, so while I'm driving if the illegal stuff is off then it's pure legal...

@Joey_19 - Why is it that that's what most people think about neons? I don't have them on there because I see the ugly looking Japanese cars with them I do them because I love lights, favourite time of the year is christmas...Unfortunately ONLY because of the lights...And why do the japs get all the credit, considering the guy who invented the light bulb (or lightbulb, or lamp...for those who read the joke thread on bulbs) was American...

I think you will find there is a mistake in the audio section of your post though. 800wrms 6x9's I assume it should be 80wrms.

No, they are each 800W speakers...

No, they are each 800W speakers...

800w max (atleast thats what they write on the box), not RMS mate. You'll never get even half that, 400rms, into a 6x9 speaker, especially back door chinese brands.

Same with the sony speakers. They are 30wrms (130w max). Thats the normal branded sony, the Xplod 4" are only 20wrms.

ahhh I see...Never under stood why they made it so complicated, don't see why they can't just have a simple wattage rating...don't see a "200" written on my $20 note...

So he has his Max watts and RMS mixxed up :P, i think neons in a car where they cant be seen and shine down on your feet or something is good but depends on the colour. Neons on the out side of the car is crap. good luck with the car mate dont go to crazy

Only problem with the ones inside is carpet maintenance, I need to keep my carpet clean or anything that is there glows and gets annoying....

Just ordered the switches so they should get here by Monday, when they come I will get some wire, and start working out what to start with...Will be putting everything on switches on the dash underneath the right hand side air vents.

All switches will be wired:
UP = ON
DOWN = OFF

Switches are the circles, switches joined by lines are looped together (either switch operates that object), and the empty boxed are free spots for any further mods...

Basically they light up when your driving, the design on them is very stupid as they basically turn on automatically which is illegal, but I'm goin got have a go at trying to put switches on them...The wires inside are like hair thin so have to be gentle

Thanks yeah I do....It's a good thing I'm not a mosquito Havn't got all parts just yet, but will do what I can next week, and once done have to find a decent camera...My phone camera doesn't show the best of it, almost all the lights come out blury...

Haha...glad there are still some more of us around...was beggining to think i was the last one but bought myself a few webcams, and I'm gonna put them outside the car and video me driving (One on the outside mirror looking backwards onto the car, and another one in the grille

Was very occupied today at work thinking about my car and I came up with the idea of a "mauto" (manual/auto), basically the way it works, rather than pressing the button on the T-bar, you push in the clutch then move the bar up or down....What do you guys think?

Weekly update, I just bought a 2900 Max Watt 5 way amp from Sydney for $130 So will put that in when it arrives. Guy at auto sound store said my amp could be the problem with my interference, was going to get new amp, so will do that, and then if problems are still going on I will put noise filters everywhere...Any may be getting my Aunts Honda Civic, and while I have that I will paint my car
