Good pick up for $3300 man. Why did you go TTB's on a stock motor? What did they set you back.

Yeah well it needed a diff reco, new brakes+tyres, but the paint is nearly flawless, so I thought id rather spend $1500 ontop of purchase price, at least i know ive got all new parts.
Got the manifold for a good price
Ill get a bumpstick soon so it should sing nicely after that.

I just took it to a different dyno place (the 2nd time) than when i got the initial dyno run done. So obviously the readings are guna be a bit different..
    before manifold - 139rwkw (dynolog)
after manifold - 144rwkw..(dyno dynamics) but definetely feels more than that. has a noticeable improvement so at least 10-15rwkw increase i reckon.
AFR's are a bit rough so Foamy's making me a tune to suit as we speak, so after thats in ill take it back to the 1st place i got the dyno run and see exactly whats goin on..

Havnt done much lately cos ive been busy as, just gave it a proper cut+polish, clean again with dirt/stain remover, then polish all with meguiars products..came up pretty shiny now
and just touching up a few bits n pieces. In the process of re-spraying the door handles black.

I replaced the upper+lower rear trailing arms a couple of months ago, so I thought it would be good to replace all the front rubbers also..
Got the nolathane sway bar link kit ($41), and all new sway bar rubbers($20), +nolathane strut tops ($173)at the end of the week cos mine have a few small cracks in them.
Also replacing ball joints cos theyre getting a bit cruddy..
All up it around $270+ labour, ill do it myself if i get the time, but Ill probly get slack and pay for it to be done.
Cornering is guna be tight after this

Yeah I know, that would make it look 10x better and flow better, but I rang one place and they wanted my car for nearly a week and 2into1 custom intake piping would be around $500+.
whats average pricing for something like that and best places jecs?

Next will be new window tint for summer, maybe reflective but im leaning towards just darkest legal black.

damn thats pricey i could knock something up for waaaaaaaaaay less than that. Here's a pic of the ecotec TTB i made. In the end it waay easier with a car there as the ones i made were right up close to strut tower and about 200mm too long.

If you have a look at classifiedcalais my ride theres a pic with them on his car

I got a couple of alloy 90 bends still and some pipe but probably not enough to do would have get some more. The main problem is measurements i need lots if I was to do it. preferably have a look at the car. It does require a fair bit of time and if your paying industry rates i can see how it can cost $500. It took me about 5-6 hours to make that one.

i know alot of people go down to exhaust shops like exhaust bro's to get their cooler piping made up. Pub24/7 has the right idea, but get the end piece made so you can fit both pod filter and the standard CAI back on (incase you wanna sell it)

have a look at these two threads, you might see something you like

Pub24/7 has offered to make me an intake (like the one in the pic he posted above) for a good price..ill get that done when I get the cash, and more importantly the time.

Got a pic with the car bra on..next to the secong toughest looking machine compared to my SS .lol

Got another tune update from greenfoamfor the TTB manifold, mid-upper RPM range is noticeably improved, and economy alot better now also..down to around 17l/100 around town and hopefully still around 10l/100km on HWF driving
    Scored these for $120.
cream top 24lb, good for up to 220rwkw which is enough, im aiming for around 180rwkw-190rwkw/ 240kw@engine once cam is installed..

Yes, from the magnas, You can usually get them cheaper than blue tops as most people make the mistake of thinking the blue tops are better

Yeah I remember a red wagon v8 banging around that roundabout.

yeah I snapped that TTB up quick
Anyway the cam choice is getting tricky, trying not to loose to much low-mid rpm range..It wont end up being a very hot cam but should add a decent amount of "FCCK YEAH" with good CITY/HWY driveability.

PS. Getting new dark window tint on sat..
