yep matt black paint, slam it on the 14's painted red with wide white walls and maybe some moon or baby moon caps. And chuck a mexican blanket over the seating...
Might work lol.
those are some sexy pizza tray hub caps![]()
ahhhh I saw that beast in person on Sunday night. I was wondering what the story was behind that mother ^_^
That's fantastic. A wagon, with the original moonies, and the fan-TASTIC brown/red interiorThat's classy. And a bargain too at the price.
I wish I could pick me up one of those for that price for a daily![]()

Lol not a bad idea i got some matt black gmh paint but it wont be enough When it cools down i'll get down to my mates joint and we'll give a spray
Thanks mate thanks to jolly rogers i got a full set now i was missing one
Lol sorry for the late replies somereason i never check my car threads. And that interior is the pinnacle of the late 80's and oozes class. I actually dont mind it now just needs the back door trim fixed and some new speaker grills in the dash for some reason theyve turned green. Its in need of a clean dust and spiderwebs seem to love it.
Last thursday on the way to tafe it decided to die on me. After a few minutes screwing around found there was no spark and did diagnostic test (quick tip always carry a paperclip) and as i suspected error code 41 crank angle sensor. Water trick didnt work so i came back in the arvo and manage to make it a halfway to work before it died again and no reviving this time. So i spent 2 hours after work on friday on the side of dandy-franga road fixing it Let me say series crank angle sensors ($33 delivered to work from bursons) arent fun later models are much easier to swap.
Anyways i also did the dfi and coils packs found that 1 and 6 coil terminals were burnt so it runs heaps better now.

Car playing silly buggers charge issue or something
Since then the battery has been on the blink if you leave the lights on for a few minutes or leave the radio on the battery will be near dead flat.
So i lashed out yesterday (after a rather bad one that needed a jumpstart) i bought a new century 470cca battery seems much better now, cranks quickly. Cost $150 and came with 2 year warranty. The old battery looked rather shabby and was only 200cca now wonder it was rather slow to crank
I also spent another $100 odd on parts to service the car i think it needs it anyway when i get around to doing hopefully it'll thanks me for it
Cheers Pub

But something new is planned for it. I have purchased Powerslave's 140rwkw V6 for it and plenty of other goodies have come with it.
So its going to be a decent upgrade over the the tired and noisey 370,000 km motor, the new one has done half that amount of kays.
Big thanks to The Stig for giving me and dropping off an 8 bolt flexplate for it. All i need now is some flexplate bolts and itll be ready to go in this weekend coming.
In the meantime as of yesterday i replaced all the welsh plugs and sump gasket (has been leaking since cam change) and given it a little bit of a clean.
Add soem pictures now and will put more up when its done and running

Plugs under the dash at the ecu are different and so are the ones next to the battery for the engine loom. also the wiring for the alternator regulator isnt on the S2 engine loom so it required me to unpick it from S1 loom.
A note when workling on motor dont get dodgey with wiring i dodged mine up so it could get it started and see if it ran and it ended up leaving me strandedon the side of the road. Ended having to add a nice thick earth strap to solve cutting in and out issues.
Also fitted the pacies and twin cat into 2.5 inch system without rear muffler and it was ok to begin with but now its too loud for me i cant stand going to have to add the rear muffler now.
only reason why it isnt in the was the whole system was off powerslave vp sedan so it required a bit of modification to get it to fit and i was running out of daylight on sunday
The complimentry pictures. one of the old donk, 1 of the new donk in, couple of the wagon about to be gurnied, one of it on the hoist and one of the twin cat setup (sort of you can see one side is bolted onto stock system

also, damn i wish i had a lift in my garage.
lol that silicon was on there good spent 15 minutes scraping and sanding it off the timing cover they sure put a lot on it.
Going good atm has a bit of an idle problem and its louds as **** im swear im going to get pulled over soon. only really loud at light throttle/high lods which is most of your normal driving so its fing annoying. At idle it sounds awesome and when your givng it some it sounds unreal like a real v6 should. but for a daily driver it just all round sucks.
Hoist is awesome best car tools ever... got a block and tackle right above it too so you can get engine and whatever out easy

Still got an exhaust leak at the front coming from the paccies where it no 5 pipe unbolts from the headers near the collectorlooks like i need a new gasket for that.
