3 inch exhaust seems a bit of a waste when the cat is 2.5 inch

Good Point Stocky.....
I had a blocked cat so i replaced it with a 2 1/2 inch one....
However later on i decided on a 3inch catback for the cam work im going to do to it later on....
So after a couple of things like suspension, brakes and diff ill be gettin a set of paceys and a twin cat setup so the cat isnt going to waste![]()
you should be able to get the flanges modified to increase them to 3 inches, but i dont know what the internals of the high flows are like. that might work, might not

After looking through the forum and seeing multiple thermo fan installs, I thought I would post up my install. I got my mate Chris (PREDATR) to wire it up to a modified memcal that he had and also we used a VN wagon rear window washer button for an override switch to keep that 'factory' look...

Is it just me or is 124RwKw abit low? not insulting you or anything just wondering what the average RwKw for a 5L is.

why did you use the rear window washer switch? they spring back out once you let go, so wouldnt it be kind of useless unless youre going to hold it down constantly

All Good mate,
124rwkw is low for a 5L, however when i bought the car it was only on 89rwkw to begin with when i bought her, so im happy for now, but this is on a accurate dyno, not a happy one as some people like to go on......lol
Sorry mate forgot to add that i used the a/c button with the window washer cap on it to make it a on and off button.....
looks nice and yet so familiar
Its standard height i swear officer get your tape and check :-)......... pump up faster god dam you!!!

and those horrible white wheels, ill be setting my 18s soon wanna buy them?
Speed never killed anyone. Suddenly becoming stationary, now that's what gets you...
Update:
Ive been having a couple of issues with the car the past few months and its seems to be fuel related so i thought id drop the tank out to replace the twin pump setup to a single walbro unit and also paint or polish the fuel tank and straps before it all goes back in lol......ohh and all of the breather hoses and filler connector hoses will be replaced too....
![]()
good progress i see mate, i wonder whos idea it was about the fuel pump![]()
good luck polishin that..lol.. maybe sand blast it?? would look good tho afterwards, post up pics of progress
Thanks Tommo
Yeah i wonder who's idea that was to go a single walbro.....hmmmm guess we shall never knowlol
Polishing it out of the question now as its too much of a stuff around to do, so it will be painted in asteriod silver or something similar with darker greay straps
lol thanks ill need it....
I gave it a quick clean with degreaser and it came up alright, so it will be sent off this week to be professionally cleaned (both inside and out) and then some dents that i have found will be fixed also and then it will be painted in 2pak and then put back together and onto the next problem lol....
**UPDATE**.....well a small one...lol
Got the tank back from Green Welding yesterday ready for a lick of paint
Its still got some rust on the outside but the inside was the main part and shes not too shabby now
You can see where they cut the tank and rewelded it to sandblast it
Managed to get the camera to sorta fit in the sender unit hole and grab a snap of the inside
Now its off to get painted this week or next![]()
