    Default Blown VP

    Hi guys,

Well this isn't my car but it's me mate Ollie's car. He is computer illiterate so I am doing the honors of posting his car on these forums.

This car was a project car of his for a while and you may notice something rather odd ... yes thats a bonet from a Ford 260 BOSS. I reckon it looks pretty mint.

The motor was sourced from the US, its a Supercharged ex NASCAR motor, producing at the time of shipping, 200+ rwkw, he is yet to dyno it. Onboard is a 6spd manual gearbox aswel, hardened suspension all round and an LSD diff to top it off of course. He has also had a decent stereo system installed but I don't know the specifics so I won't bother

I am going to be getting an audio file of the cars exhaust and posting it here sometime soon aswel, as you would swear BLIND this is a V8 unless you didn't already know it was a Blown V6.

This is still a work in progress and Ollie is about to take off to Europe for a few weeks for holidays. When he returns he has plans for a Yella Terra Supercharger upgrade, which should quite happily push the output up to around 230-250 rwkw.

    -Chris

Trainspotters will also notice that the alternator position/mounting and the coil pack position is subtly different from an L67, and entirely different to the standard VN/VP V6.

    But who cares, it's a six-speed VP And that's awesome ^_^

    L67!! I like it already

Interesting colour though! Is that an original XR bonnet or a scoop moulded to a VP bonnet?

Its not an L67 coby... close though. Would be moulded fibreglass bulge i would assume.
Looks good though man. Dont mint the color, wheels are average, but should be pretty quick
PLEASE tell me thats not actually on gas though?!
And im quite interested to hear this V6 that sounds like a V8...

*looks closer* I can't see past the ignition cables and vacuum hoses. Looked like an L67 at first glance.

    Yellow VP + Super6 + 6 Speed = ****in Tuff!

Scoop looks a little large for the proportions of the bonnet for some reason, dot any better angles without the sunlight reflecting on it?
