hey man jus wondering how u took the rear lion badge out that has the key hole in middle?? ive tried the fishing wire trick but still wont budge..is ther somethin else holding it? looks nice n clean with no badges hey...

heatgun, pry with screwdriver being EXTREMELY careful not to touch your paint with it. Get the badge itself off, worry about the glue etc later.

Mind you, I've never done a rear badge as my Lexcen never had one. That's just for VN/P badges in general, the glue is often rock solid by now.

If fishing line wont get it off, its being held on by 2 little clips, which means if you take it off you will have 2 holes in your boot lid from the badge, its not on all of the calais but was on mine, i had to put mine back on after i debadged it.

hmmm wierd.. i done the rear badge and the bonnet badge and had no holes.... do the diff models have diff badges?

Ps thanks for the comments... i still couldn't get the chrome back in on the grille.... so i just left it with the plastic surrounds in, and im lookin for a replacement grille.....

just use silicon if you have it, otherwise some araldite should do the job.

Personally i dont mind the badges. i just think without them the car just looks that little bit cleaner... wouldnt have bothered me whether i kept the badge or not.

haha ok dude, she pretty clean, just dirty, car was broken into and theres a lil damage on the drivers door trim, but wouldnt be hard to fix.... lemme know, im home most of the time... between jobs atm
