STEALTHY suggested I write up a tutorial on how I did my gauges, but honestly, I can't be bothered, plus don't have pictures for step-by-step instructions. SO, if anyone is interested and wants to set up something similar, just PM me, and I'll reply, eventually

ceptors are just standard holden rims but 7" wide and normally painted with chrome style paint (check mortons ride), they look better then the standard one you have now. fit some highway max treads and your laughing

All money at the moment though really.

I just spent a bit on trying to get a problem fixed on it, now it's fixed, I'm saving up again.

Well, I found out a few weeks ago that my pads, and rotors are up shit creek.

So I ordered in some QFM-HPX pads (heard really good about them. Might aswell give 'em a go), and got some slotted rotors ordered in to. Just to replace the originals.

Should be putting them on in the next couple of days with new bearings, so I'll post some pictures up once they're on.

    Finally got around to it.

New Slotted rotors with QFM-HPX pads.

    Looks meaner now

The car definitely pulls up better now. Glad I finally did it.

QFM are definitely gonna be my regular brake pads now.

Again, thumbnails here are reduced, so the links to the full-size images are in the first post.

Hey man i like the car I'd never seen pics before. MANUAL sik as bro and those brakes tell me all about them i can see slotted rotors are those twin pistons or vs calipers. How does it pull up you have probably sen me talking with VN91SX about this. Any suggestions?

Thanks. It is quite nice, sadly needs a good paint job though (Will happen eventually).

Brakes? Nah mate, just a VN V8 rotor that's slotted. Not a different model at all. Still got the original single piston caliper (That's what's gonna get changed next).

It pulls up quite a bit better than before, not sure whether that's the pads though. I changed to QFM-HPX pads this time, and they're awesome.

Dad reckons that there's not as much brake fade aswell, so I'm happy.

Yeah that's what i was thinking of getting the standard 270mm slotted will go straight on but you have the slotted 290 did it go straight on after you knocked the old one off?

Standard caliper really mine look nothing like that and you appear as is you have braided lines is that right?

    Braided lines? Not sure.

As for the different caliper and the 290MM discs.

They come standard with the 'S' Series, but yes, they bolt straight on, no dramas.

Well, I've been meaning to take the wheels off and paint them matt black. I did that today. Finally.

Pain in the ass actually. Degrease them. Sand them down. Wash them off. Clean with Acetone. Paint...x4.

But it was worth it. Came out pretty good.

    Thumbnail has the reduced image.

For the full size image, it's in the first post.

I know, I know. I should've. STEALTHY pointed that out too.

I noticed AFTER I had put the wheels back on >_<
