why nobody comment yet... LOL.
Looks ****n tough. Look forward to seeing this week.
dont worry, il start a ride thread soon.
damn thats nice lol shuda just chucked the TB's on top lol
oh this beast is just asking for 20's, thats a fairly long build period, whats the dyno on this car?
Wow, awesome effort! car looks great. You should add a boot lip to make it look meaner. Love the cleane engine bay, that manifold looks crazy how it sits up so high, long runners. Too bad about the pod sucking hot air though.
P.S. Dont get 20's, ride quality will suck the beanbag.
Pod is there without an enclosure because the enclosure makes it messier - if you get what i mean.
I've got the All Holden Day at Flemington in March that i want to enter it into to defend my title of best of make. The neater the bay, the better.
build period is long because i only work about 10 hours a week during uni - I've got a monster course. It also used to be my daily up until about 10 months ago.
I'm not sure how it goes yet, but i will tell you this weekend. No dyno, just track times, which i don't have yet either
20's - nope. I go thru tyres too quickly. About the only other rim i'd put on it would be 19" VX GTS shadow chrome or black.
forgot to mention - TUNED BY GREENFOAM![]()
that looks tuff as!
nice work..
i love this thing, i will be watching this thread with great interest, damn tuff.
"A life lived in fear is a life half lived"
Took it for a long drive last night, was good to get out in it. Showed up some problems with the way its running, hope to sort it out on the weekend before sunday's cruise. I'll be there anyways.
Still love the stall, its a great mod.
sick stato dude looks mean, wats it throwin out?
atm nothing cos i ****ed the motor again lol
ran dead level with a mate's mid 13 sec silvia with a few people in mine, so it wasn't a slug.
manifold worth doing ya reckon ?
SIR LS1
the two ton go kart
Wouldn't have run better than a low 14 before so yesmanifold worked very well
where did you get the manafold from and how much did it cost by the way tuff vq
He made the manifold, it cost him $1000 for the tig welder and one or two bottles of gas ($200)8 egg cups and alot of time
oh hard luck dude. im still keen to see it.
dont worry, il start a ride thread soon.
cheers hsv punk, it will be back! Going to japan in a few weeks, then after that will start on it again. Mid year i expect.
Haha foamy, glad you included the egg cups! They cost all of $1.22 each. Awesome stainless bellmouths though.
And you can cancel out the cost of the tig cos technically my old man bought it and i just use it all the time. Think he's used it once
Mani was great though, the more you revved it the harder it wanted to go, none of this falling over business. Its a pity i didn't get to test it properly. Should go well with the stroker bottom end though!
something etched into the front plate of the intake. would look awesome as.
dno what youd want to put there.
good luck with it man. good job on the welding too
hey Dale, looks like its come along way from your issues with the timing chain?
Anyway that was then ..and it looks tuffer now with the throats out the hood lol
looking good. how much u been driving it ? had any trouble from cops yet
