nah i havent noticed any improvements at all!.. infact its gotten worse

but i dont think its cos of the o2 sensor.. to be honest i dont know what it is.. maybe fuel filter or something? next on the list is a tune so hopefully that helps a bit

sorry to here that mate, they found the car this arvo & found the bloke who stole it. cops say the gearbox, ignition, front wheel are all ****ed, few scratches, the window they broke... ****in priks.
will 3rd party insurance cover the damages?

Nope, 3rd party fire and theft is what you would have needed to cover it.

Having said that, if they know the person who did it, your insurance company should chase HIM for the money, at no cost to you.
Ring them and find out. (If they don't, lodge a civil suit against him, although since he's a dropkick chances are you'll only get $5 a week)

Mate i have the same car vp calais. If you use the factory imobiliser how did they get the car started when it cuts the fuel pump? and you cant unarm it unless u turn the imobiliser of or have the remote on you?

......immobiliser didnt work lol. sshhhhh... and yeah its 3rd party fire and theft so should be all good... will they cover EVERYTHING right down to scratches and dints n shit?

and its still goin up for sale. just might be a bit delayed unfortunately... ill probably get it back in a few weeks. yaya get to spend the whole holidays without a car... or driving mums civic :|

If you pay the excess they'll cover everything.

bad news... they wrote it off, quoted 3.8k for everything except the rim and chips. so they wrote it off...

little update, still got the vp. its a the mechs getting fixed

my old man is contemplating keeping for his daily cos ive already bought another car which would be pretty awesome.

i bought a black vs s pack with a 5 spd manual, redback headers, high flow cat and two and a half inch cat back, sitting on ssl's all around. its goes pretty hard next to the vp n pulls a nice skid too

haha. not as clean as the vp but im happy with it.
anyone know if i can stick the sssl's out of the rear of the vp into the vs?... dont really see why not considering they got very similar rear ends. let me know. cheers

your VP's got IRS rear as opposed to a VS S Pack's live rear end, different springs
