WELL I took the ceptors off so I can give them a proper coat of paint (and 2 tyres ) so for now im rolling around on 14's :P Im actually very suprised how it looks........

I would have preferred some moon caps(would have looked pretty damn sexy!) but this is all we had spare in the garage BUT I like it lol


Also went for a cruise with some mates to rye and arthurs seat, LOL my car handled like a boat on the tights but on the sweeping bends the car did fantastic ALSO got major brake fade and smoking brakes hahaha good ol' 270mm v6 brakes! *sarcasm*

So next mods when i can afford them will be some 290mm rotors so i can put these v8 calipers on and then swaybars etc........ When money allows that it lol


ALSO, i think my trans is really on its way out, put some additive and it was fine for a bit then went back to normal, bloody thing.... So i have a reco box in the garage ready that i got for cheap, So meh! see what happens

Freshly painted ceptors with tyre black YEAAAAAAAH!


Only 2 got the tyre black treatment, The other 2 went to tyre heaven and are getting replaced with some highway max 225/60/15's tomorrow

So ceptors should be back on and a wheel allignment either tomorrow or during the weekend

Now have 225/60/15 highway max's all round....... I love these tyres, I've had them before and totally worth the $70 each

NOTE TO ALL! if you have a spool and want to stop the shudder as much as possible get these tyres........ took a tight corner into my street today, all i got was a lil skip off the tyre (not even noticeable if your not looking for it)..... Wth the old tyres it used to shake the shit out of my interior on this particular corner :P

Also had to roll my guards becausethe 225's had trouble fitting under......... =] =]

Well, i raised the arse end of the car, I liked the look of the ultra's in the rear but it handled like arse...... so i threw in superlows liking the way it looks atm but the difference in handling is heaps better.....

Also decided this car wont be getting a 5L conversion, staying as a 6 and going to strip it of sound deadening (maybe), put some thicker swaybars in and try and find ways to strenthen the butter chassis lol....... Then eventually buy a new car in a year or so (i hope)

Ok so update, a while ago on a cruise with some mates through the hills I may have been reving at 4000 for about 20-30 mins, note: buick engines dont like it
So I threw in some additive to stop it from ticking/knocking, worked for about 6 months and then ****ed up lol

So i replaced the engine with the VR engine out of my old car, feels heaps better
also threw on/in
-Extractors (my stock manifold was cracked so thought **** it)
-High flow cat a mate gave to me
-Corvette Servo
-Reco Trans.
-Trans cooler (big ****, 400x180x25mm)

I'll be getting rid of my middle muffler in a couple weeks so it should sound pretty damn sweet (i hope)

Not much of an update, car looks the same...

Changed Timing chain to a double row and obviously removed balance shaft and tensioner and I am now a firm believer that everyyyyyyyyy buick should have a double row, so much quieter...
So everyone with buicks (probably ecotec's aswell) put a double row on and stop being soft cocks because the vibrations that people were talking about are not even that bad and is extremellllllllllly over reacted by the haters (like all things car related really)
