Hi all
For those who haven't seen my last thread; I was given this Commodore as a gift from my father for my 21st. It needs a lot of work done to it though.
Tomorrow its getting brand new fuel injectors i gave it a fuel flush today, hopefully it should idle and run smoothly tomorrow arvo. As for the interior, its pretty sad looking, being stolen once before, the SS interior was completely stripped out and replaced with a standard VN one. Only thing that was left was the dash as it has the SS badge still there but the instrument panel was removed tho
To be continued...
good project car but you have a hell of a lot of work to do big time and dollers there mate good luck with the build ay bud
if thats a series 1, then thats the standard interior. series 2 ss got the better seats. are you sure its an SS? got a rear wing, or holes in the rear quarter panels for a missing wing?

I know its an SS its got A9F written on the compliance plates and its got a 5L under the hood as for it being a series 1 or 2 the badges have been removed so have to have a closer look. The holes from where the wing used to be have been bogged up. I know how to tell my commodores apart, VP have longer indercators then the VN so thats easy.
The parts that i need for it will be paid for by my father so thats good![]()
Whats the build date on the plates? that will tell for sure!
Although were pissing in the wind here, theres technically no such thing as series 1 or 2 in the VN Range, VQ was first, followed by VP.

if everyone agrees, its an SS right? even better is its got the power pack on it. not all SS's have that!
