VP 5Lcalais maroon on 19's

hey guys just thought i'd put up my current Calais, this is my 2nd of 3 calais. i had a v6 VP Calais, full stocker on wheels then upgraded to a 5L calais this one's got som mods but nothing unreal.
it's got 5L with CAI,
pacemakers,
3inch exhuast,
had a hot trans but spat it
maybe head work
and LSD with 3:55's.
making 145kw on the rear's
ummm slammed super lows all round i think. i put my Dad's 19 inch VY sentor sigs on it and mainly cruise it in Pirie. Has been defected for the worx, to low, to lould, big wheels, oil, cracked diff cradle etc. And then it cooked the hot trans which was stage 2 shifty with 2,500 stall converter. So it's cost me a big but it's finally all sweet now.

Sits well in the back for super lows- considering it's on 19's,, love a nice Calais, i've fitted Calais seats, trims, and centre stacks to my Exec, now i gotta do the electric windows and fit the rest of the options like cruise....Damn i hate drivin round in a Poverty spec Commodore!!!!

well i sold my first one to pay for the International so photos are hard i got one of both of the Maroon ones together, and now tihs one's up for sale too!! $6,500 on stock 15" Calais, extra $1000 for the 19's cos there Dad's not mine. check it out on carpoint.com.au

i have a vn 5l on 18's and its lowered and ever kurb i go down the exctractors scrape

hahaha not normally, the 3" muffler use to scrape every speen bump out there but i got another 3" system on it now and it's actusally higher then i has it. LOL it was 15-20mm lower in the bum.

The front pipe find's some kerbs n stuff going up n down foot paths onto the road but you learn how to drive n low car n avoid these things pretty quickly.



That is the cops block of wood its 95mm heigh and you need 100mm ground clearence

yeah i have only owned this car for about a month soi i stil getting used to how low it is.. and u dont expect it and the kurb gets ya..

Cars still up for sale any comments welcome, we've sold the 19's so there now gone to a new home.

If the car doesn't sell im think of playing with it a little but dont know what to do yet looks or goes?
-single turbo n maybe chase up a 5/6 speed
-pimp it, SS body kit 20's with airbags all 100% legal i know it can be done

either way it's going off the road soon and hopfully it sells before i spend anymore coin on it.

Haha Id be stuffed well and truly Id be lucky to have 60mm gape between road and exhaust lol its shit get stuck and scrape on everything,
never try going on a really strong angle to get over a speed hump cause u just drag ya guts all the way down the speed hump lol

that's cool man should swap tires over n run them under the SS wagon.

I think im gonna just put white wall 15's under it n keep the stock look atm anyway.

Might start looking into getting the engine re-built
