Looks a little sad under the bonnet. Lots of room for improvement

Has the interior been butchered or is it all intact?

yeh im not sure if ill keep it two tone with the group a kit but plenty of time to decide on paint scheme n kits consentrating on getting it on the road again.

well i didnt really pay for it, my misses swapped her vs excec sedan for it and gave it to me and i gave her my sl/e lol so you could see it as i/we payed 2g for it lol or youll have to wait n see how much she sells the sl/e for to determine how much it cost me..

apparently brand new driveline well its done 25 thousand kays which is ment to be a come racing stroker yet to be confirmed but either way it dont bother me as its something ive always wanted

two tone is the only way to roll

and that engine bay will come up real nice with a good clean, but don't forget to fit your radiator shroud. cooling works much better with it on, plus i wouldn't want to see someone have their hand ripped off!

actually i was showing the misses something on my vh sl/e which had a shroud on it and then she went to point at it and clunk clunk clunk for a few secs lol i was like wat the hell would you do that for haha she reckons ohwell it didnt hurt haha

Those rear seats are insane!!! Wish i had them in my Exec haha +1 for the fury centre surround
Have to say i don't really agree with the two tone suggestions. Looks alright on a calais ect- but i reckon there's already too much to look at on a Statesmanm two tone just clutters it up. Just my opinion though....

yeh but the two tone would have to stay the way it is not half way up the doors like a calias, so if the kit was changed the car would all be one colour, if i redo it two tone it will be the same kit with the addition of the front lip and replace the foggies that were stolen before i picked it up (bloke fitted them to his mates stato)

Looks alright keep it the colour and style it is, maybe a SS lip kit would look alright but the colour at the moment with the two tone looks awesome, wheels suit it really well as well

yeh its got a lip kit on it aswell as its a caprice its got the rear lip, sideskirts, and a sv90 rear spoiler, all i need to find is the front lip to siot fog lights (pritty sure its differnt to ss)

but yes the colour combo is awsome and i reckon not very common as i dont think ive seen too many around like this

series one stato reat is awesome i had one in my vp still got it sitting in the shell like to big comfy armchairs.

Also id suggest not getting a fiberglass front lip theyre not as good as the factory plastic ones ones.
Anyway nice project car mate are you missing some of the lower door moulds or does it just look that way???

Leebo, you could of gotten a s2 statesman thats when they introduced a v6 as an option..
