well i know a guy that ownes a VN berlina, the guy b4 him got one installed.$3500 later he actually found the receipt today from the previous owner..
i know it doesnt really help but...yeah...oh
and IMO: $3500 is way too much
Was that just the install or for the complete sunroof and install because i can get the sunroof/roof lining for $300 just need it installed?

there was a thread similar to this last year, end result was dont do it yourself, no matter what.
Yer I'm not to keen on doing it myself anyway, i can cut a piece of wood with a straight linelet alone a car that I've dump a heap of cash into!!!!

dont attempt it yourself. ive seen someone do it and all it resulted in was a ****ed/written off car with a creased roof, a sunroof that leaked....and lots of laughter. its dangerous and just pay the $1-2000 to get a proper one installed.

i got a mate that him and his chppy mates did on a vs and turned out perfect looks factory and doesnt leak. I also sold one on ebay to a guy (was a new manual one with template) who put it in his ute and said he had no dramas and it was fine its possible to do it yourself but you would want to **** it up thats for sure

did mine my self,,in fact it was very easy,,make a template up,removal of factory bracing was the hardest, cutting was done with a very fine jigsaw blade,,the sunroof gets glued to steel roof then 4 bracket hold in place,,i was scared at first but worth it in end, mine looks factory,,i got told by holden dealer that hsv do all of holdens sunroofs after they assemble the cars
Thanks for the info dude at least its not impossible to do!
