My Vr doesnt want to start
    Turn the key and nothing
Press the remote button to lock the doors, then open the doors and it will start
    Whats going on
Stop looking for the Potholes and sit back and Enjoy the Ride

Try moving the gear selector to N and pack to P whilst holding the key in the start position as it could be the inhibitor switch which stops the car starting in D or R. Keep your foot on the brake whilst you do this.
    Good Luck.

    Hi,

I had the similar issue, accessories working, but the engine not turning over until you take the key out and press the remote locking on then off. i thought it was an immobiliser issue.

After a while I found it was simply that the two metal tabs that the key touches when the key is in the ignition weren't making contact with the key, pressed the key inwards when turning it around to start and hey presto! starts first-time/everytime!

    hope that helps
