Heater Valve Tap Direction

i just recently brought a new heater valve tap, as my old one snapped and was worn out, im not sure which direction it is supose to be facing, im pretty sure the old one's arrows were aimed towards the front of the engine bay, but my new one's arrows are pointed towards the back of the engine bay (towards the back of the car) as thats the only way the valve tap will fit into the bracket.

if anyone knows which general direction the arrows should be facing it will be appreciated

the old tap was abit to worn out and the arrows were semi faded and worn down to the actual tap so it was hard to see which direction they were facing, and auto-one isn't sure which way it should be facing

The tap can only go on one way so I wouldn't worry too much about the direction of the arrows.
