Has anyone lowered?
If so, have you had any problems since?
elliot dont be gay and hurry up and buy some springs, no probs after. but depends you might need and adjustable panhard rod
Are you seious, posting a thread like this?
What are the chances you're on this forum too?
That's the sort of problems i'm talking about.
Yeah listen to Reaper, it has been clarified, he knows what he is talking about lol.
Elliot, get back to us with this thing called 'lowering'. We are all very interested to see the results you get and hw much $$ it sets you back. Good luck in your further investigations.
Wow that's amazing lol
lowering? doesn't that involve cutting your coil springs? sounds like a good race upgrade!
what about leaf do we remove 1 leaf from each set or just remove them alltogethor
haha just take all the suspension out and run some heavy duty sponges lol
Hmmm sponge you say!?!?!?!
sure did wat about welding the diff to chassis anyone done this if so have u had any problems e.g bumpy ride or anything like that
You joined in the last 16 days and you are already acting the smartass. You're gonna last long around here
Only problems you may come across are your exhaust scraping over speed humps etc and you may need a panhard rod to straighten to your diff up. If it's all done by someone who knows what they are doing, you will have no problems. Just buy some decent shocks and springs and replace any bushes if they need to be done.

Not so much your springs, it's your shocks that will give you a firmer ride (if you go with firmer shocks like Pedders Sports Ryder etc). But if you go really low springs SSSL's etc, it can contribute to an even firmer ride over bumps etc.

i am running pedders sports ryder springs and shocks, its does scrape the Y piece on the exhaust over speed humps, but i also found the firmer ride placed a bit of extra force on the power steering resivour, Which bolts directly to the plastic radiator and tanks causing it to crack, replaced the radiator and all seems fine, just need to get the sydney roads fixed up, hitting bumps at 110km on the freeway is not fun. Other than that the handling is 100% over standard (its more of a speed boat compared to a house boat!) good investment.
