vr or vs ss

Hi guys, A mate of mine is thinking of buying a vr or vs ss commodore. I just want to know some things about the Holden 304 engine in regards to reliability, power, economy and anything in general that is of concern to the 304's?

gday mate i gota vs ss that i just crashed 2nite...there not 2 bad on fuel all dpends on how u drive it..304s are a strong motor also..i havent had any problems with the car untill i crashed it 2nite
