    Default vs v8 manual conversion

    hey guys,

my cousin has a VS series 3 5L ute, so its got the vt motor and all that crap. he wants to convert it to manual and he found a conversion from a vs senator which has the 6-speed box. im pretty sure it has the dual mass fywheel setup, which im assuming is hydraulic clutch setup. its a complete conversion and the bloke is asking $2500. is that a reasonable price?

also, would he be better off going for a solid state flywheel? or keep the dual mass?

    any input is muchly appreciated.

depends on his driving dude if his a rough (hard shifts and alot hard accel) then yeah solid will be fine other wise for everyday driving dual mass are good they eliminate the power surges and give a nice smooth take off..
