Remote boot release
What is the easiest way to get a remote boot release button on to my key ring?

Just buy a Calais or statesman key and you might have to change you computer.

easiest way is to install an aftermarket kit and have the extra button attached to your keyring.
or the other option much harder, is getting a hi level bcm, matching the loom, electronic boot release, and whack it in.

It is a Berlina with the single button key, if I buy a new two button key would the BCM recognise it?

not ur current bcm no. ud have to get a calais bcm and its matching key whether it be its old key or a new one coded to it.
