vt - vy irs diff in vr???

hey guys n girls, i have been told that a vy irs diff could be fitted into a vr with irs??? all you need to do it change some part thats not too hard to change aparantly? is this tru??..

ive been told its called a yoke or something...? can anyone confirm this..??

i had a talk with a guy who has a vy diff in his vs. he said just change the yoke and cut the thread part down so the tail shaft can sit on.
