VS Acclaim Wagon Reverse Lights not working

HI All,

Just picked up a vs wagon and after going over a few things for th RWC the rear reverse lights arnt working. Did the basic stuff and checked the globs, they seemed good but i changed them anyway. Still no good, so i checked the fuse with a test light and it was good. So then i got the test light on the wires to the reverse lights and there is no power there. Where does it get its signal from? What else can i check?

is it a manual? ,mine had the same issue, ended up being the reverse light switch in the gear box

Check this out for an auto. It is called an Inhibitor Switch. I`m just going to replace mine. A faulty one can stop you starting your car.
