Default Auto A/C on Demist with CC VR

I'm fed up with the a/c on at night when using the demister with Climate Control. Uses fuel etc... and with my heater not working to well bloody freezing! What would be the best way to get around this? I still want the A/C working on other settings and sometimes would like it on for the demister (for a frantic demist). So a switch? Would there be a way to have a switch wired just for the auto A/C on demist and not effect the operation of the A/C on other modes?

better fix your heater first. it won't demist vey well with cold moist air (non ac) blowing on it.
