Default To take or not to take

Heyy all. Yes its annoying ol' me again, lol. My girlfreinds mother has an old kingswood and apparently their restoring it to original condition. Now all of a sudden shes asked my gf if id like her original mags for my car. Id have to polish them up and buy new wheels, but what do you reckon? They're the real deal and all. All opinions are greatly appreciated. BTW my cars a maroon VS, many people have the same colour on this site.

    My new Holden

    Thanks all!!

    *EDIT
the included picture is from google, not the actual mags

yeah mate i reckon you should go for it, why not?, it's not like your forking out 2G for new wheels, and it's something different

Haha well i did ask. The only reason i was even mildly considering it was because at the moment im absolutely broke, because of school i earn like $130 a week and my VS is currently running on pooncy hubcaps, lol

rip those hubcaps off, grab a can of wheel paint and spray your rims.

dont get those mags. yes they may fit on, but the stud pattern is NOT correct, it is off by about 1.5mm, which is enough to cause problems. the wheel nuts wot seat properly, or your studs will end up bent, and pose the riskof breaking.

save your money, and buy the correct wheels for your car.

If that is the same rim, it looks like a Cragar. They are not GTS rims. http://www.oztion.com.au/buy/auction...is=0&freepost= these are GTS rims.

Also the Kingswood would be 14", the VS is 15", they probably wouldn't fit over the front calipers.

That's correct ^ they are not GTS rims and they wont fit properly on a Commodore anyway. I had a set of 5x actual GTS rims well I still do but I left them out in the rain and they are all stuffed now
