Can you remove your VS hub assy, and straight bolt-on a VT assy?

I understand, you would need a wheel alignment after this, and you would need to do a brake upgrade to suit.

Just curious, because if i upgrade to VT brakes, i would rather do it properly than have to order weird discs or spacer shims.
