Removing VS Statesman boot garnish?

Hey guys,

I'm trying to replace a damaged boot garnish with a new one. I've undone all the screws at the back of the boot garnish but can't seem to get the two off from around the edges of the garnish. They seem to just have bolts holding them in but there's no thread to unscrew them with? Do these just pull out?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
