    Default VS commodore t-bar globe...

    Hi people. I have a 96 vs acclaim. I was wondering if anybody knew how i can get to the globe that lights up the PRND123 on the gear selector....Much appreciated.

    pull out the ash tray , then you are on your way.
    Next i believe you stick your fingers in the ash tray hole and pop the panel out of the console... there are a few clips in the corners and middle i think, and remove the panel, exposing the selector to allow you to fit a new globe. Its a push in globe, T5 i think ?

    Read this "how to" on how to pull that panel...you need to disconnect the wires to the fag lighter and fag lighter illumination as well.
