Reversing lights not working on V6 auto....help??

Wondering if anyone can help.

I've replaced the fuse for reversing lamps, I've pulled the switch apart that is on the left side of the shifter as per the "How to repair reverse light switch on Auto VR/VS commodore" in the how to section of this forum, still not getting any lights in reverse. The globes are definitely working as tested in other sockets...What else can I check?? Any help appreciated.

Have you checked the wires and connection to the globe?

Look in the boot where the wires come down alonside the hinge arms - it's easy for the wires to get stretched here.

first i'd be checking to see if i had power in the globe holder, then tracing it back from there, checking each plug for life. then you can work out if its rear loom or around the dash area

what else have you checked?
