Hey guys, got a couple of questions.
I am currently getting 16.7L/100KM's with a Foam tune on my VS Senator. It's just done 157,000kms. Is it average / crap?? Just got an oxy censor for it too, now, do the VS 5 litres have one or two oxy censors? I know they are 2 wire censors.
Would the oxy censor be the cause of the fuel economy if 16.7L/100KM's is poor fuel economy?

Plug it in and it'll tell you if your oxys are rooted.
Nah i don't dude! My mechanic might but he isn't in until monday which sucks. I'm gonna replace the censor now i have it anyways, one less thing i have to worry about.

Yeah i was gonna give that a shot over the weekend at some stage.
It's an auto. I won't lie, the car gets a bootful every now and then, but not even once a day. I mean like maybe once every 2 or 3 days, it's driven normally with a light foot 95% of the time.

I would think around town that's about standard.
Factory figures are 15L/100km for city driving and I dont think that takes into account booting it. Sounds acceptable. wouldnt know really because I sit on 110 the entire way to/from work. 15L normal + booting it + tune = about right.
Well that's what i get out of my mafless tuned ls1 6 speed so you're not doing too bad![]()
I averaged about 18L per 100 in my vs clubby when it was auto
That translated into about 330km around town and i got about 700 km to the tank on the highway was sitting on 10L per 100 on highway dont know about manual yet speedo is not connected .
Cheers doug
Float like an elephant sting like a tree clubsport hits what doug does'nt see
Ah ok cool, well it makes me feel better to know it's not too bad then. Thanks mate![]()
