Lsd vs commodore

hey all im thinking of buying a lsd for my non irs commodore , the diff in question is from a vr commodore that has abs my car dosent have abs will this diff work in my car or is it abit to much to play around with to get it working cheers all

just change the centres, itll be fine. my statesman has ABS, when i put the LSD in it (that came out of a car without ABS) i had to use my old diff hat cause of the wheel speed sensor brackets, IRS though

im only thinking out loud so dont take this as gospel. ABS diff in my thoughts would only have some tabs welded on it somwhere so the abs can read the output shaft speed. So the actual diffs themselvse shouldnt be different, and theres no reason i can think of if you fitted it why it would not work, the abs is only a proxy picking up some tabs on a shaft, nothing to do with its operation at all, only external monitoring basically.
