    Default VS Temperature

Just wanted to know what everyones temperature is on average in city and country conditions if you know what i mean. Currently when im on the freeway my temp is the first notch after the C. And in city driving its sits on the second notch? Is this too cold? It also takes atleast a good 15-20mins of driving to warm the car up in the morning. Is this normal?

Sounds normal. But remember.....it is a temperature GAUGE. This means its a gauge and not fully accurate enough to tell you the exact temperature to the nearest degree. If your worried, go to Holden or good auto elec with tech 2 or with handpiece to get into computer to check what your actual water temp is when the gauge is on a certain reading.

You could also try an infrared touchless thermometer gun. Shine on the hose near thermostat and some other areas for a bit of reference too.

Nothing beats a handpiece to get into the computer to see what the actual temp is to the nearest degree. Once you know, you will then be assured that on halfway on the gauge, then for example your temp may only be 103 degree celsius and nothing to worry about.
