stage 3 is full manual it wont change up or down by itself you have to drive it like a manual

I don't know what brand or stage my ''shift kit'' was in my vs clubby but it had corvette servos and upgraded clutches and other stuff but i hated driving around town.
Would chirp second just trying to take off from the lights on light throttle and was very annoying getting whiplash 20 times on the way to work ...
Im so much happier with my manual and it goes better and uses less fuel
    Win win
    cheers doug

transgo is the best it has more things in it than the B&M kit.

transgo is the way to go..

stage 3 as said will smash you around... not many want this in a daily for obvious reasons..

stage 2 holds gears to any rev when manualy shifting.. but drives fine when left in drive.. just a bit firmer

pulls second gear harder and faster making less slip on the change making you accelerate faster

$600 sounds ok to me, you may get it done a bit cheaper somwhere but that seems fair.

There are also billet servos around to.
Like the corvette servos only harder and 4 times the price.

$600? Shop around dude, i had mine fitted in my old car for $400 parts and labour for a transgo kit with servo etc. $600 seems a bit steep to me. Why spend an extra $200 when you can shop around and get it done elsewhere cheaper.

i'm getting my gearbox rebuilt for the 2nd time(first time was standard and added a shift kit, 2nd time cos i lost 2nd gear). Had a B&M stage 2 in it, now goin with a transgo kit for this rebuild. hoping it'll last longer.
