ok so, just a little list
- whats the difference between stage 2 and 3. (details on how it improves a stock box)??
- and why does every one get stage 2?
- why not get stage 3??
- is there much $$cost difference.?
- how much "around abouts" is it to get installed?
thanks guys
stage 3 is full manual it wont change up or down by itself you have to drive it like a manual
I tune the oldschool way fear on the passengers face and knuckle colour cant go wrong

wats better a Transgo Shift Kit or a "B&M" shift kit?
the transgo is $219 with a corvette servo
but B&M is $99 (see link) is it anygood?

I don't know what brand or stage my ''shift kit'' was in my vs clubby but it had corvette servos and upgraded clutches and other stuff but i hated driving around town.
Would chirp second just trying to take off from the lights on light throttle and was very annoying getting whiplash 20 times on the way to work ...
Im so much happier with my manual and it goes better and uses less fuel
Win win
cheers doug
Float like an elephant sting like a tree clubsport hits what doug does'nt see
transgo is the best it has more things in it than the B&M kit.

transgo is the way to go..
stage 3 as said will smash you around... not many want this in a daily for obvious reasons..
stage 2 holds gears to any rev when manualy shifting.. but drives fine when left in drive.. just a bit firmer
cool i'll go with the transgo... i got quoted 600 installed wit corvette servo. at a trans mechanic. this right???
i thought it would be a bit cheaper? thanks guys
id say 600 including parts is fair.. the corvette servo can be done in under an hour easy for anyone thats done it before
What does the corvette servo do better over the stock item??
pulls second gear harder and faster making less slip on the change making you accelerate faster

so everyone thinks 600 is fair?...should i keep shopping around the transgo kit from him is 300. thats how much he sells them for. do yu think autobarn would have them or order them in for me????
just curious has anyone here actually brought that bam kit off ebay and installed it them selfs? and how did it drive afterwards?
S2 VR TRY EBAY I GOT MY transgo shift kit stage 2 FOR A VP FROM THERE FOR $220
$600 sounds ok to me, you may get it done a bit cheaper somwhere but that seems fair.
There are also billet servos around to.
Like the corvette servos only harder and 4 times the price.
$600? Shop around dude, i had mine fitted in my old car for $400 parts and labour for a transgo kit with servo etc. $600 seems a bit steep to me. Why spend an extra $200 when you can shop around and get it done elsewhere cheaper.
