rear window brake light problem

hey i have a vs sIII stato and my rear parcel shelf tail light seems to be very very slightly dimmed when lights are on but the stop light works perfect... and it turns my globe out light on my dash

any suggestions on how to fix this thanks heaps

I've the same problem with my series 1 VS statesman, I also noticed when the parking lights are off and the brakes are on, my number plate light is getting power to it, I reset the BCM, this switched off the the (globe blown) warning light on the dash, but has'nt solved the problem with my tail lights, when head lights are on and I put my brakes on Im not getting any power to the rear right parker light, take the foot off the brake and parker light works fine. It's got me stumped.
