    Default umm 265km from $55 petrol in a v6 ?

whats wrong here? ive done cai and an catback exhaust yesterday.
ive also mixed some premium and chucked in some injector cleaner , what should i be looking for , fuel leaks or is it just premium and the new mods?
and yes ive had my foot down a bit but not 100km worth of petrol worth.

petrols been about $1.30 lately do ill do the maths and work out how many litres that is after.

I can beat that, when I floor it from the lights I've seen my dash say 99L/100km, thats the limit, don't go any higher. VX V6.

    $55 @ $1.30/litre = 42.3 litres
    265km from 42.3 litres = 15.96l/100.

that's not too bad. try granny driving 1 week. then try driving hard 1 week. then try and find a happy medium. i wouldn't use premium either, from what i found i didn't get any extra kms out of the tank.

Correct me if Im wrong but normal premium is 95 octane, the only places that have 98 is BP (Ultimate), Caltex (Vortex) and Mobile.

since posting this thread ive found my fuel guage is being dicky, it was on the red and the light came on while driving.
i parked it and went off to do something then upon starting the car again it went up too just under quarter of a tank.
also trans doesnt slip one bit.

$300 / 1.20 a litre = 250 Litre tank. Just curious where does the tank sit, or did you seal up your boot?

if you have a hit fuel filter can you get better consumption or a will a new oneprovide better consumption?....only reason i ask is cause i replaced the filter and filled up wit 98 octane at the same time. and yeah i dunno but i've gotten nearlly 420k's so far and got qaurter tank left............i do put my foot down occasionally...but yeah not that much... anyone else get good result from premium 98??
