How hard is it to replace the tensioner arm on the emotec V6
easy as piss, once you undo the pully bolt with the belt on, take off the belt then just unbolt it
Im talking about the whole unit, my mates has stripped the thread bloody left hand threads and need to replace the whole unit,as a temp fix i have put a 8mm bolt in it with a nylock nut on the back.
I did mine a few years back, did the same thing, learnt the hard way it has a left hand thread on the pulley.
I remember I removed the alternator, not sure if I had to or not, but it made the job easier. It was a pretty straight forward job.
Hope this helps.
