    Mallala? Whyalla?

Buy yourself a drift box, then you can see what your car can do with good accuracy.

Yeah dyno would be your best and most wise choice. Don't risk your license and the lives of other people on the road.

Whyalla and Mt Gambier (or a place close to it) have 1/8th mile tracks.

Other than that, there isn't really much you can do.

i know what ya mean pillzor i to would love to put my foot down and see what my car can do but as chrism said its simply not worth the risk so unless you can get to some salt flats or similar your only other choices are dyno or drags

Its hard to relate a power figure from a dyno and put it into a 1/4 mile time.
350 rwkws is enough to push a sub 1300kg into the 10 second area, but then you need to look at ratios setup etc and get them right before you run the 10.

There's drag strips in SA at Whyalla (dedicated track?), Coonawarra (closed road) and nearby just over the Border at Mildura (dedicated track), Casterton (closed road) and Portland (dedicated drag strip). All within driving distance of Adelaide if you are going to make a weekend of it like most people do

What the hell are you on about?? Please dont post unless you know exactly what your telling people hey.

A drift box is like a G Tech, but much more accurate as its GPS based. You can set up race tracks on it and record your times. Any serious racer that heads out to track days etc should have one.
