dash background change?

hi there. i wanna change the background colour on my vs dash from the shitty grey one to a better one. can someone help me out with what that part would be called coz no one seems to know what i mean when i say (dash cluster decal). cheers peoples

Say your car has done 220,000kms and you change the trip meter thingo to say one that has 150,000 on it when you change the clusterboard and you sell it to a dealership, they plug into the computer or whatever you do. Can they find out it really has done 220,000kms, and if so can you get in trouble for that.

they cant find out, because all that info is stored in the dash cluster. But a keen eye looking at the car will give an indication to how far its been driven (rotor wear, dirt/oil buildup in engine bay, amount of crap in TB..) its best to not change ur cluster, Unless your upgrading. And ifu are, make a note of the difference on the cluster (eg, your real KM's are 70,000 above what the cluster reads.)
