    Default removing cat

    is there any power gain or does it just sound better? and incase i have too go over a police pit is it easy too replace?

    illegal 30 k or so fine, removing it totally shows the cops your a dingle berry

    no real gains for street purposes, its more of risk then anything. Massive fines if you get caught as it wil be EPA fines not police fines. I'm sure they can be well over $5000 for a simple thing like no cat. If your worried buy a proper hi-flow cat if you think its hindering your performance.

    Any power gains will be very mininal at best to the point its not worth doing , most of the time they are bolted in but sometimes they maybe welded , but most importantly it is illegal to run without one or hollow one out
    The fines far exceed the price just going to an exhaust and buying a hi flow cat ,as for sound you will be flat out making any na v6 sound better(assuming thats what you have), if I could get rid of that fart in a tin can sound of my super 6 I wouldnt hesistate ,but you might have better luck in getting a better sound

    Not really much difference, I have run my VR with a hotdog resi in place of the cat for a few weeks now and there is barely a difference. It seems a bit happier to rev but thats about it. Not worth the fine you would get for doing it.
