    Default Water in boot

I have water in the boot all over the floor, not just in the wheel well.
Is there another common cause besides this How To Fix A VN-VS Boot Water Leak

Could be the boot seal or the tail lights too.

^ Yeah garnish trim looks sus.It has broken mounts each end. I will try fixing it, also might try removing the boot seal, cleaning that and removing the tail lights for a look and mounting the garnish better.
    Thanx guys.

When I posted I searched and only found the thread I listed above but after retrning to the thread, at the bottom was four relevant threads?
    What gives with the searches?

I think whatever generates the "similar threads" at the bottom of the page uses much more clever search techniques than us lesser humans. I find it turns up better threads than you can find doing the search yourself and usually will provide the exact answer to the query.
Maybe it's all done with mirrors.

    Default leaking

has your car been hit in the rear before?
    bar bolt holes
    tail lights
    boot spoiler
    rear windscreen rubber/rust/poor install
    any body join

suggestion: remove everything from boot, dry everything, get a torch, get a hose, get a mate, one gets inside with torch and mate gets hose and hoses car gently but consistantly all around the rear of the car while talking to boot guy and telling him where to look for leaks.
this is what a crash shop will do for you
    good luck
    cheers

My boot leaks too, only when I open it though . Stupid VT boots. They drip on your stuff and don't even get me started on the struts

    Are you using Google?

For those that don't, I find Google turns up a lot more results. For example, type this into the google search bar -

"water in boot site:forums.justcommodores.com.au" (without the quote, obviously).

That "site:" bit limits the search to the site that you put in.

It comes from the rear quarter window. There is a thread which instructs you how to repair.
