Default Ever Seen anything like this before?

    Hey Guys,

Was travelling down to cowra last Friday with my mum in another car behind me, when all of a sudden i feel a very very rough shudder in the steering. I pulled over right away and checked all of the Brakes. The front passenger brake callipar had lost both bolts and come off. This is what the result looked like.

How on earth would it snap like it did?

Managed to get another callipar and brake pads at a near by wreckers.

holy moley, you lucky as boi. Would have been interesting if it locked the front wheel and busted the brake line.

check the bolts on the other side and make sure they have 10.9 i think it is stamp on the head.
    Likley cause
not done up tight enough, WAY over tightened ( would take a powerful rattle gun) or wrong type of bolts used.

Grade 10 bolts are rudely strong so would be expecting something else to cause the problem.
